Alesia, I found a web site that you just gotta check out. I don't get excited about many web sites but this one has caught my attention. I haven't done the background checking but what I read on "The Authority of the Believer" is very well balanced and right on.

Hubby and I are doing pretty good but we just found out that Tommie Sue's son, who is a very busy doctor in the town where she was residing didn't know until Friday that she had died. We always sent each other Emails everyday and I haven't received one from her since Feb. 12th. They think she had a massive stroke or heart attack but she was having a reaction to her hypertension meds on Sunday when we were there and she promised us she would tell her son on Monday. It just breaks my heart that she could have laid there all that time needing help. I love her kids with all of my heart but she only lived a mile away from them and a phone call is pretty easy to make.
I can't help feeling so very sad about losing her and yet I thank God that she didn't have to go to a nursing home or anything like that.

I'm so saddened to know your friend was alone, that's one of my biggest fears for my loved ones & myself.
Just try to remember, she's blissfully happy right now in heaven, running about, having a grand time.
I've been separated & divorced from my husband since 1997. His mom lives alone & I so worry about her, I love her immensely! She calls me every morning, under the guise that I need her to wake me up in the morning. (I don't really need her to) but it is my way of checking on her everyday to know she is ok. It also gives her "a job/responsibility" to do each day & keeps us connected. Boy, does she sound hurt if she calls & I sound wide awake!

I have a massive amount of info. about vitamin B17 - Laetrile, for cancer.
From comments you have made, it seems the family is aware of nutritional therapy & that's good.
Do a google search for apricot seeds, vitamin B17, laetrile, amygdalin & the Oasis of Hope hospital in Mexico. There are websites that debunk B17 - but they are full of it!
If you want, email me & I will send you information about it so you don't have to do the research.
I don't know that it will help at this stage with Geoff, but I CAN tell you, I've given this info. to 4 people who had cancer & their dr's couldn't figure out how they did so well.
I personally buy apricot seeds, grind them in a coffee grinder & sprinkle 1 tsp. on my cereal, yogurt etc. They are bitter so you must disguise them in food, but never cook with them, horrible tasting! After all the research I've done, I have a fear of other health problems, but not cancer.
I'd love to share this info. with you or whoever else is interested.

There is HUGE controversy regarding laetrile, apricot seeds. The FDA has really aggressively gone after people. If you research more, you'll learn why. The government can't make money on it!
For instance, you'll see, that you can not sell apricot seeds on the same site where you say it helps cancer, it is illegal to do so - people have actually gone to jail for it. Laetrile & amygdalin are illegal to purchase in the US - but not in Mexico. If you tried to buy it off the internet, it would get confiscated by customs.
I KNOW this works, I'm living proof (not that I had cancer - but don't want to get into here) I've seen it work for others with cancer, as well.
Trust me on this - do the research!

I don't want to give false hope. I don't want you to think I'm proclaiming this as some kind of "magic bullet", I'm not.
I recommend starting with downloading or requesting the Dismantling Cancer free book from the Oasis of Hope site. It has listed a lot of cutting edge technologies. Also lists their survival rate for various cancers. People have gone their after being told by their dr's that there is nothing else to be done - the things they are doing at Oasis are pretty impressive. BUT the book lists things that can be done at home to help aid even in conventional treatments.
The most important thing - We must continue to have faith in God for Geoff's recovery & keep up our vigilance in prayer.

But the sites I've listed are more indepth & there is even a site where one can purchase apricot seeds.
It's great Geoff's family already knows about laetrile, it's really important to incorporate the proper balance of vitamins, nutritional therapy along with the apricot seeds. The books I listed give very detailed plans.
The things that are stressed over & over is: Once you've put cancer in remission with these techniques, you MUST keep up with them or the cancer will come back. These therapies should now become a part of the person's life.
Eating apricot seeds as a cancer preventative:
They say to eat between 7 - 10 kernels a day. 1 perfect teaspoon = 4 kernels, grounded.
The numbers increase for people in remission & with active cancer they quadruple.
Should not be eaten at one time, as they can make you nauseous.
